No strict subject restrictions. All disciplines are funded. However, your subject must align with your Development Impact statement and your country's development needs.

Yes. The CSC expects scholars to return home to apply their learning. This is a condition of the award reflecting the CSC's development mission.
The CSC reviews your situation. Persistent failure may lead to termination and required return home. Contact your university support services early if struggling.
