Most nominating bodies close 4-8 weeks before the CSC's final date. Check your country's deadline first.
Timeline Steps
Expected Sep-Oct 2026: Applications Open (to be confirmed)
CSC publishes new cycle details. Electronic Application System (EAS) opens. You should already have application materials ready.
Expected Oct-Nov 2026: Most Nominating Body Deadlines (to be confirmed)
This is the critical window. Most national nominating bodies close during this period. Some as early as mid-October. This is YOUR real deadline.
Expected Dec 2026: CSC Nomination Deadline (to be confirmed)
Nominating bodies submit their selected candidates to the CSC. By this point, your nominating body has already reviewed, interviewed, and chosen who to forward.
Expected Feb-Apr 2027: CSC Selection (to be confirmed)
Selection panels assess development impact, academic merit, and potential. Some candidates may be interviewed by CSC panels.
Expected May-Jun 2027: Results Announced (to be confirmed)
Successful candidates receive conditional offers with guidance on university placement, visa, and pre-departure preparation.
Expected Sep 2027: Arrive in the UK (to be confirmed)
