Poland My First Choice 2027: NAWA Master's Scholarship
A Master's scholarship for listed high socio-economic countries and territories. NAWA is not an admissions office. Last official call: no. 19/2026; the 2027/28 call is not yet published.

Call 19/2026 of 30 April 2026 closed on 29 May 2026 at 15:00 Warsaw time, and NAWA has published its results. A 2027/28 window has not been announced as of 6 October 2026. Based on the 2026 call, an announcement around spring 2027 is likely — confirm on the official page before planning.
What the programme is
NAWA's page describes it as a way to encourage talented people from the listed countries to study at Polish university-type HEIs. It pays a scholarship during the statutory period of full-time second-cycle studies at academic HEIs (public and non-public) supervised by the Minister of Science and Higher Education that have a NAWA framework agreement, with a tuition exemption at public universities.
Applicants choose the university and field themselves. NAWA does not act as an intermediary in admission. There is no call for fields at HEIs supervised by other ministries. Contact: pmfc@nawa.gov.pl.

Also eligible: residents of Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan. Do not invent extras.
2026/27 money
A monthly PLN 2,000 for up to 12 months a year (5 winter / 7 summer). A one-off travel lump sum is paid with the first month:

Motivation and documented achievements scored 0–50. The pass mark was 60 in total, with at least 25 in each criterion. Zero on GPA ended the review. The panel could interview selected applicants, and awards went to the highest scores. Results were due by 31 July 2026.
NAWA later reported 42 applications from 21 countries/territories; 31 passed formal assessment and 25 candidates were selected. Hosts named in the results news included Jagiellonian University, University of Warsaw, Kozminski University, and SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
Next cycle
Call 19/2026 closed 29 May 2026, 15:00 Warsaw time. A 2027/28 window is forthcoming and unpublished as of 6 October 2026.
