These official answers are clear

No. Both announcements say NAWA does not mediate admission. You apply to a Minister-supervised HEI that has a framework agreement, on that HEI’s rules and calendar.
Banach: 8 May 2026, 15:00 Warsaw, or earlier at 300 applications in groups 1–3 and 200 in group 4. Poland My First Choice: 29 May 2026, 15:00 Warsaw. Results were due by 31 July 2026.
Banach: PLN 2,500 a month, PLN 2,500 travel, public tuition exempt, funded prep course (Polish track) or Polish language and culture course (English track). PMFC: PLN 2,000 a month, country-tiered travel, public tuition exempt.
Banach 16/2026 excluded applicants who already held a second-cycle or uniform Master’s, unless the home country has no two-cycle system. Both programmes excluded a prior NAWA Director scholarship for second-cycle studies.
Only those on the call annexes (recognised Polish and English lists). B2 for the language of instruction. Banach prep-course path: Polish at B1. Universities may still demand B2 at their own admission.
No. As of 22 September 2026 the next student cycle is forthcoming. Blogs that print a May 2027 close without a NAWA PDF are not an official source.
