Three portals, one rule

Apply to the agency best aligned with the research so experts closest to the field review it. You are responsible for that choice. After consulting the subject-matter pages, contact the agencies if you are still unsure.

CIHR

What happens after you click submit

With the exception of personal contact information, you cannot change a submitted application before or after the deadline. Update contact details by emailing the relevant agency. If you apply through an institution, graduate studies run an institutional evaluation and then forward files up to that campus’s quota. Agency committees then score research potential (50%) and relevant experience and achievements (50%).

You will be notified of results by 30 April. If you accept, the agency may publish your name and basic award information.
