Campus France
Deadlines 2026–2027

France has no single deadline. Eiffel, BGF, universities, grandes écoles, the Études en France portal, and your visa application all run on different calendars. Miss one, and the entire chain breaks.

Scholarship Timeline 2026–2027

Oct 2026: Applications Open

Start applying to French institutions. Express interest in Eiffel to admissions offices.

Nov–Dec 2026: Études en France Portal

Most countries: portal opens November, closes December–January. Check your country's dates.

Jan 2027: Eiffel Nomination Deadline

Institutions submit Eiffel nominations to Campus France. You must be admitted BEFORE this date.

Jan–Feb 2027: Campus France Interview

15–20 minute interview at your local Campus France office.

Feb–Mar 2027: BGF Deadlines

Varies by embassy. Contact your local French embassy for exact dates.

Apr 2027: Eiffel Results

Results announced. ~400 Master's + ~70 PhD awards.

Apr–Jun 2027: Admission Confirmations

Accept offers, start visa process, apply for housing.

Jun–Aug 2027: Visa + Housing

Book TLS Contact appointment. Apply for CROUS/Visale. Peak processing season.

Sep 2027: Arrive in France

Orientation week. OFII validation. Stipend payments begin.

You must apply to institutions months before this. Most institutions have Oct–Dec admission deadlines.

BGF (Embassy)

Every embassy sets its own deadlines. Typical range: February–April. Contact your local French embassy directly.

Études en France Portal

Country-specific deadlines. Most fall between December and March.

Submit 48+ hours before deadline. Portal crashes are common on closing day.

Regional Scholarships

Île-de-France: typically March–May. Other regions vary. Check each region's website or Campus Bourses.
