One file: Master's admission + ESOP
ETH is explicit: ESOP applications are supplied via eApply (the online Master's application). That also applies to ETH Bachelor students for a consecutive Master's. There is no separate paper form on the current official page. Planning tracker below — not an official ETH decision.
What the Master's how-to-apply page adds
ETH's international-Bachelor How do I apply? page is about admission, not ESOP, but ESOP uses that same portal. Official points that matter once you attach ESOP:
- Complete file by the deadline. Late or incomplete applications cannot be processed.
- You may apply for two Master's programmes per semester. Each has a CHF 150 application fee, not refundable, paid in eApply. That fee is an admission fee, not an ESOP fee.
- Admissions Office screens, then the programme committee evaluates. ESOP uses those same admissions committees. The Rector then awards ESOP.
- Admission decisions are normally issued within 2–3 months of the submission deadline and appear in eApply. ESOP itself is communicated at the end of March.
- No Spring Semester entry for these Master's windows. HS27 is autumn 2027.
ESOP is not a nomination you wait for
You opt into ESOP inside the first-window Master's file. ETH does not ask a home university to nominate you (that is an ESKAS / other-programme pattern). The official FAQ says there is “no nomination for ESOP” and that Master's admission is unaffected if ESOP is not awarded.
