ETH Zurich ESOP Dates for HS27

First window 1–30 November 2026. Possible interview in February 2027. Rector decision at the end of March 2027. The April 2027 window is not an ESOP window.

The HS27 calendar

Official window: 1–30 November 2026. eApply prints 12:00 CET (noon) on 30 November; the dates page prints 11:59 AM CET, and the ESOP page prints 11.59h MEZ in one place and 12.59 MEZ in another. Do not rely on the last hour.

First window and eApply open for HS27
The ESOP extras go into the Master’s eApply file.

Monday 30 November 2026, before noon CET
First window closes
Confirm the portal time. Late or incomplete applications cannot be processed.

February 2027
Possible phone/VC interview
Stay reachable on the phone number in your CV, or tell the programme coordinator.

End of March 2027
Rector’s ESOP decision communicated
Admission decisions arrive separately in eApply, normally 2–3 months after the deadline.
Autumn 2027
HS27 Master’s start
There is no Spring Semester entry for these Master’s windows.

1–30 April 2027 is the Swiss Bachelor admission window only. It does not reopen ESOP.

After you submit

Admission decisions are normally issued 2–3 months after the submission deadline and appear in eApply. ESOP is evaluated by the programme admissions committees and awarded by the Rector at the end of March. Keep February clear for a possible interview.

This calendar is ESOP, not ESKAS. ESKAS country windows and a 1 September 2027 start belong to the Confederation programme.
