Country-Specific Tips

France

Apply via Campus France. Processing: 2–6 weeks. VLS-TS visa required. Need to validate within 3 months of arrival. Book appointment early — embassy slots fill up fast in peak season.

Germany

Processing: 4–12 weeks. Need blocked account (Sperrkonto) with ~€11,208. Some embassies have 2+ month wait for appointments. Apply the moment you get your acceptance letter.

Spain

Netherlands

University sponsors your MVV/VVR. Processing: 2–4 weeks. Relatively smooth process but requires early coordination with the university international office.

Sweden

Online application via Swedish Migration Agency. Processing: 2–8 weeks. Need to show proof of funds. Biometrics required at embassy/consulate.

Italy
